Additive Manufacturing for the Circular Economy is a research project carried out at +LAB, Department of Chemistry, Materials, and Chemical Engineering "Giulio Natta", Politecnico di Milano, as part of the local INSTM unit at Politecnico di Milano. The project investigated the intersection of extrusion-based additive manufacturing (Material Extrusion AM), materials from agri-food waste and by-products, circular economy models, and product applications enabled by these materials and technologies. The research aimed to map the state of the art at the academic, industrial, and design levels, and to identify opportunities and gaps for the valorization of biomass-derived secondary raw materials through 3D printing for real-world applications. 1
